WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO:

The competition/football cheer team consists of 7th and 8th graders at Liberty Middle School. They cheer at football games and attend Regional, State, and National competitions. Being a part of this cheer team has many rewards! Valuable experience includes teamwork, determination, peer encouragement, development of friendships, increased self-confidence, learning to set individual long-term and short-term goals, cultivating tumbling/stunting skills, and improving physical conditioning. One of our many goals is to prepare cheerleaders for their future at the high school level. In return, the school gains pride, school spirit, and leadership through their participation.

Competitive cheerleading is very time-consuming and requires a lot of time outside school hours. The season runs from April to February. Parents must also accept monetary obligations.
