Student 2 Student
Liberty’s Student 2 Student (S2S) organization is made up of of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are working to ease transitions of incoming and departing students in order to meet their critical needs within Liberty Middle School. We help students transition into Liberty with student-led tours, lunch buddies, and social events. We also support our school and community through various community service and outreach projects. We support active and retired military-connected families in our school, community, and nation.

Kitty Mingus is the Army wife of Colonel (retired) Matt Mingus. Matt served in the US Army for over 30 years. Matt and Kitty have 2 children who proudly grew up as "Army Brats" and who graduated from James Clemens High School in 2020 and 2023. This is Kitty's 10th year at Liberty where she teaches French. This is her 5th year working with Benita as the co-sponsor of S2S at LMS.
