Established at LMS in 2019-2020, the Jeunes Amis du Français is an academic club for students enrolled in the French I (8th grade) section for high-school credit. The name of our organization roughly translates to Young Friends of French, and we are a middle-school-friendly version of the Société Honoraire du Français. Eligible students are notified at the end of their first semester of French. During the spring semester, members attend our state convention held at the University of Alabama, and participate in various service-related activities, all with a French focus!
