Welcome! I am Tammy Fiscus, your seventh grade math teacher. Previously, I was a stay-at-home mom until I received my degree from Athens State University in 2005. Since then, I have taught at Rainbow Elementary for seven years as a sixth grade teacher and now Liberty as a seventh grade math teacher. I am very excited about this coming year!
On a personal note, my husband and I are blessed to have two daughters. One is a junior at the University of Alabama, while the other is a senior at Bob Jones. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, photography, sewing, reading, and playing my saxophone. My obsessions include: technology, speaking in crazy accents, caramel, and unsweet tea (I grew up in Indiana). Throughout my time at Rainbow, I have made numerous stage performances. Most recently I played Mom in our chorus productions of It's Saturday!, but I have also been seen as Hester Hyena in a production to get the students pepped up for the upcoming testing, the crazy teacher in the Spring 2010 chorus production and performed a saxophone solo live in the Spring 2009 Reading Rally Rock-Out concert. Although I have not had time to develop an extensive resume at Liberty, I am your go-to person for robotics!
Parents and students: If you have any questions or concerns throughout the year, please email or call me.
