Education
I have a BS in Biology and a Masters in Education, both from Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, TN.

Experience

I have worked at Liberty since 2004.  Before then I taught at Lee High School and Jackson Christian School.  I have taught Biology, Anatomoy and Physiology, Physical Science, Public speaking, 7th and 8th grade science.  I now teach 8th grade science exclusively.  I am trained on all 7th and 8th grade science modules for the Alabama Math, Science and Technology Initiative.  I have also served as a trainer to teach the 8th grade AMSTI modules to other teachers.

Bio

I have been teaching at Liberty longer than any other place and I can't imagine any place I would rather teach.  I am originally from Florence, AL so I love being close to home.  I have two dogs that occasionally make an appearance at school, and two guinea pigs that live in the classroom.  I volunteer with a dog rescue proram after school.  I guess you could say I am an animal lover.  I used to coach basketball so I am a big sports fan especially for our Liberty teams.
