I am a proud graduate of Auburn University. War Eagle! I received my B.A. in Secondary Education / English Language Arts in 2008 and my M.A. in 2009. I completed my Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction at MTSU in May 2013.  I completed my M.A. in Instructional Leadership at JSU in May 2016. Most recently, I am currently pursuing Samford University's Doctoral Program for Educational Leadership. I hope to receive my doctorate in 2019. I was also awarded Liberty Middle School's Teacher of the Year for the 2012-2013 School Year!

I taught 8th grade Language Arts for 9 years.  In July 2016, I accepted the position as the Instructional Partner at Liberty, and I am so excited about learning and growing with our awesome faculty!

I was born and raised in Scottsboro, Alabama by two wonderfully supportive parents. I spent my college years in Birmingham and Auburn (War Eagle!), and I am excited to call Madison my "new" home (I've been here for 10 years now!).  I enjoy spending my free time with friends and family. I enjoy watching college football, reading, rooting on the Atlanta Braves, boating, and traveling. I am so excited to learn and grow with the teachers at LMS as their Instructional Partner!
