The National Junior Beta Club seeks to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
****DEADLINE FOR THE 2018-2019 CLUB MEMBERSHIP HAS PAST. NO MORE NEW MEMBERS WILL BE ACCEPTED THIS SCHOOL YEAR.***
Membership:
Membership is by invitation only. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who make a A/B average or better in every class on the first report card of the school year will receive an invitation to join Liberty's chapter of the Junior Beta Club. Students will have 2 weeks to accept admission and pay new members dues.
(Invitations have been sent out through advisory, due date for New Member completion is December 14th.)
Induction Ceremony:
Participation in the induction ceremony is not required to be a member of the Liberty Beta Club, but the time limit for accepting admission is strictly enforced.
2019-2020 Induction Ceremony:
Cost:
New Members: $35 fee, completion of New Member Form, completion of the LMS Service project and 1 other choice service project.
*LMS Service project is one sponsored by LMS Beta.
*Dues used to pay National Fee, support LMS service project(s), and the purchase of the club t-shirt.
Returning Members: $10 fee, completion of Returning Member Form, completion of 2 LMS Service projects, and 1 other choice service project.
*LMS Service project is one sponsored by LMS Beta.
*Dues used to host Induction and support LMS service project(s).
Note: Failure to maintain required class average will result in dismissal from the club.
Meetings/ Communication:
Beta does not meet. Most of the information will be sent out through the Beta Google Classroom.
